Smoked Cream Cheese With a twist

Wanted smoked cream cheese but also wanted it to be different. So I added some candied bacon to change it up a bit.


I used some fire honey from Chef Jason Morse 5280 culinary line up and some brown sugar , slathered the bacon with the honey and sprinkled some brown sugar and placed it on a wire rack in my Char-Griller Gravity 980. Took around 30 minutes at 350


Seasoned the cream cheese with tiki tiki rub also by Chef Jason Morse , smoked at 250 for 1.5 hours. When it was done I added some fire honey to the cream cheese and chopped the bacon to serve along with the cream cheese .


So good and was a perfect game day food while watching the Georgia Bulldogs whoop up on the Michigan Wolverines. :)

Ingredients

2 blocks of cream cheese - I attempted to make it look like a football and failed :)

1 12oz pack of bacon

Fire honey or your preference of hot honey

Brown sugar

And a seasoning of your choice
